Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When will my new artwork arrive?

A: Though we cannot guarantee specific shipment dates until an order has been placed, unframed works typically ship within 5 - 7 business days and custom framed works take a bit longer, usually shipping within 7 – 10 business days.

*COVID-19 SHIPPING IMPACT: Please be aware that our shipping carriers are experiencing increased delays, which may affect estimated delivery date.

As soon your piece has shipped out, you will receive a tracking number. Feel free to contact us with any questions by emailing info@salonlb.com.

*Please note, signature is required upon delivery of artwork.

Q: How much does shipping cost?

A: Shipping rates are calculated by package weight and size, as well as delivery destination, and shipped via UPS. We are based in Chicago and also offer pickup from our art space located in Bridgeport, on the south side of Chicago.

Please feel free to reach out to info@salonlb.com for any specific shipping and handling questions.

Q: Can I change my shipping address?

A: We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. Once marked as "delivered" by carrier tracking, we are not responsible for the package. Please ensure the correct address is entered at time of order.

Q: Does salonlb. ship internationally?

A: We do not currently ship internationally but we look forward to offering international shipping in 2021. Stay tuned.

Q: Do you ship to PO Boxes?

A: We are unable to ship to PO boxes for liability and insurance reasons. Please provide your full daytime delivery address as well as a contact phone number to ensure smooth delivery.

Q: My package is lost, what should I do?

A: If your package is lost in transit, please e-mail us right away at info@salonlb.com and we will try our best to resolve the issue. If the item has not been marked delivered and hasn't arrived within 30 days, we will replace your order free of charge.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We are committed to ensuring that our collectors are head over heels with the work(s) they purchase. However, if you are feeling less than 100% about your acquisition, please email us at info@salonlb.com.

  • Limited Edition Prints: We can offer a store credit within 14 days of receipt of the artwork.
  • Originals: Are eligible to return for a refund within 7 days of receipt of the artwork.
*Custom framed pieces and originals will have a 20% processing fee.

Q: Who Pays For Return Shipping Costs?

A: We examine all returns on a case-by-case basis in order to determine who is responsible for the return shipping. If we determine that the artwork was accurately described on our site (in terms of size, materials used, weight, etc.) and the collector is returning it as a result of buyers remorse, then the collector is held responsible for return costs.

If we conclude that the work was misrepresented in our shop (either in the photograph or in the description), failed to disclose important information about the work, or if the artwork was damaged as a result of poor packaging, the collector will not be responsible for shipping costs.

Q: How do I know that the artwork is authentic?

A: We ship each artwork with a Certificate of Authenticity, which is signed by Lauren Brescia, the founder of salonlb., to guarantee you are collecting an authentic work of art. The certificate includes the title, dimension, materials, and all details of the artwork as well as edition series information.  As a collector, it will be important to hold onto your certificate as it will help with the future value of the work adding provenance and context around your acquisition of the piece.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: salonlb. currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept payments made through PayPal.
